추억의 노래~!
어릴때 학교 급식실이 아닌 교실에서 밥을 먹을때,
담임선생님께서 점심시간마다 영어 팝송을 틀어주셨던 기억이 난다.
대체 몇년전이람ㅠㅠ 추억...
얼마전에 라디오를 듣다가 이 노래가 나왔었는데 옛날 기억도 나면서 하루종일 기분이 좋아졌다.ㅎㅎㅎㅎ
그래서 내 티스토리를 보는 다른 분들께도 들려드리고 싶어서 가져왔다.
'레몬나무' 하면
우리나라 사람들은 상큼한 이미지를 떠올리지만,
외국에서는 그리 좋은 느낌은 아니라고 한다.
레몬이 시다보니까 인생의 쓴맛 같은 의미로 받아들인다.
그래서 속담중에서도
When Life Gives You Lemons, Make Lemonade.
-만일 인생이 너에게 레몬을 주면, 그걸로 레몬에이드를 만들어라.
라는 말이 있다.
레몬... 상큼하고 귀여운데ㅠㅠ
그래서 이 노래속의 lemon tree도 그리 좋은 의미가 아니라는 뜻...
레몬 트리 말고 다른 즐거움을 찾고싶다는 말이 될것이다.
